Meditation and Self-Awareness Retreat

NOTHING AND NO ONE, WITH CLARITY

New cycle of Xavier Puigdevall‘s
Psycho-Emotional Awareness Program

Place : Casa del Tibet (Bcn)

Dates: November 20, 21 and 22, 2026

Dear community

Today we want to invite you to pause for a moment, take a deep breath, and immerse yourselves in a reading that comes from the heart and lucidity.
In a world that often demands us to be perfect, rigid, and independent, we share this article with you as a warm embrace for each one.
It is an invitation to release burdens, to recognize ourselves in others, and to remember that the peace we seek so much already lives in our own nature.
We hope these words bring you as much relief and joy as they did to us when sharing them.

Our journey toward innate freedom.

Can we imagine for a moment how beautiful it would be to let go of the burden of having to be “someone” rigidly all the time? There is a state of deep clarity and lucidity, embraced by the Buddhist tradition, that invites us to discover the peace that hides when we let go of labels and strict definitions of who we are.
Far from being a sad disconnection from the world, this wisdom is a vibrant and affectionate invitation to life.
It reminds us that we are not isolated or permanent islands, but that we are part of a sacred fabric where everything is intimately connected.

To walk together toward this wonderful understanding, we can open our heart to these great truths that transform our reality:

  • The relief of not being a rock: Sometimes we see things—and ourselves—as solid, fixed, and immutable structures. But reality is much freer and more hopeful! Understanding the absence of a rigid identity means that we are not trapped in the past, nor in the future, nor in our mistakes, nor in a static essence. We are, at every moment, an open canvas to infinite possibilities of transformation.
  • The beautiful heartbeat of interdependence: Nothing in this universe exists on its own in isolation. Just as a rainbow needs rain and sun to be born, or a flower blooms thanks to the earth, water, and air, we exist in a continuous relationship with others and with the environment. We are the result of a universal embrace of causes and circumstances! Recognizing ourselves here, isolation fades away.
  • Embracing day-to-day life from lightness: In our daily lives we play roles, use names, and function in the practical world, and that is perfectly natural. The magic happens when we deeply remember that all of this is a beautiful and passing dance. Living with this lucidity allows us to enjoy moments with complete devotion and love, but without the exhausting fear of loss, knowing that life flows like a river.
  • The awakening of joy and innate compassion: Believing that the ego is real and that we are completely separate from the world is the root of our fears, attachments, aversions, and sufferings. How exciting it is to know that we can dissolve those mental barriers! By meditating and understanding that these divisions are only projections, our constant struggle against the current stops. In that moment of calm, the dawn of an unwavering happiness sprouts naturally, giving way to the greatest treasure we share: our innate goodness and compassion.

Living from this lucidity is not disappearing from the world; it is, finally, blooming together in our true nature and freedom.

Conclusion

May this reminder of our union with everything be the lighthouse that guides our days. At the end of the road, letting go of the illusion of being separate does not leave us empty; it fills us with the only certainty that matters: that we are the rainbow, the rain, the earth, and each other’s heart. Let us look at each other today with more tenderness, knowing that we are made of the same nature.

About the Psycho-Emotional Awareness Program

This program, developed by Xavier Puigdevall, helps us engage in the necessary self-reflection that will allow us to identify what is harming us, where we need to be especially careful, and how we can move away from our suffering. This awareness process must be carried out without judgment, allowing us to become aware of our internal processes with a compassionate and loving attitude toward ourselves.

Retreat Dynamics:

The retreat is designed to be an experiential event that combines teaching sessions with therapeutic exercises. These exercises will help us witness our character or personality difficulties—in other words, our harmful habits—so that we can get as close as possible to the deepest essence of our being and distance ourselves from what makes us suffer.

NOTE: Given the methodology of this program, it is open to all who are interested, with or without prior experience in meditation or retreats. You are welcome to invite anyone you like.
